Cologne-based guitarist, singer and songwriter Klaus Spangenberg has been on the German rock'n'roll circuit for 20 years. In the 90s he toured with Anne Haigis and played on various releases for various Cologne artists. He wrote music for TV productions and has been an integral part of the Matthias Reim Band since 2000.

In the Ruhr area, the busy guitarist is known from the Wednesday night sessions "New York Nights", which have been running successfully for years at the Riff Club in Bochum. Despite the very different band and studio projects he has enriched for many years with his song-serving playing, he has always managed to stay true to his 70s blues-rock roots.
